Re: sdcard-ext gone missing?

Since installing ICS, I no longer have access to my external sdcard.  I have tried other sdcards, formatted them using FAT32 and still are not recognized by the Droid Razr.  I can see, read and write to the card via my PC/Laptop without any problem.  Any suggestions or is factory reset my only option?

Have you mounted and formatted them with the phone itself, rather than the computer? What do you see if you hook your phone up to your computer? Can you access it that way? What about going into SETTINGS | STORAGE ? What error?

When I look at System Settings --> Device --> Storage --> SD Card /MNT/SDCARD-EXT it is greyed out and shows insert and SD card for mounting.  I cannot format the card if I cannot see the card, right?  On the PC I can see all the files, I can add, remove and otherwise manipulate the files on the SD Card.  I have also installed and tried to access via ASTRO, no luck.

If I hook up to the computer via USB drive, it does not see the SDCARD-EXT.  No errors, just gone, kaput.

That would be correct, it is not seeing the card. What size MicroSD cards are you using? Do you have access to another phone that you could try the card(s) in? Someone else's phone? Have you tried rebooting the phone with the MicroSD card in it?

I just tried the 16GB card, that came with the phone, in my Blackberry and it was able to see the card and view the pictures on it.

I have rebooted the phone with and without the card.  I read where clearing the cache partition would help and did not.  Still nothing.
