Does anyone know how you set different ringtones to individual contacts? Thanks.

Go into contacts, then scroll to the person or number you want to set the ringtone and select edit and then go down to ringtone and instead of it being Default, click on the ringtone bar and select the song or ringtone you desire. Select Save/OK and go on to another one etc.

Its always best to make sure if you are putting custom songs as ringtones to place the song on the phone first.

Hope that helped?

Yea I tried that but it will only let me use the Android ringtones. I've downloaded mp3 songs but it doesn't give me the option of using those songs. Any suggestions?

While viewing the contact, press Menu, Options, Ringtone.

Not to sure what the problem is then.  I used My Music to create a ringtone, and when I scroll through my default ringtones it's in there with the stock phone ones.

In your music folder hold the song and selct save as ringtone. It will then be listed for ringtone use.

On my wifes razr I went in and did this from the music and it plays perfectly under each of her contacts.

Just be happy you don't have to use a iPhone 4, I had to make 30 second clips from my itunes library, then after it was saved I uploaded to my phone and then it appeared in my ringtone list for me to use as custome ringtones.

I could have been foolish and paid for ringtones for both my droids and my iphone but making the ringtones is cheaper and when you get the hang of making them much easier.
