GPS is on but it keeps saying "searching for GPS" when using Google maps, has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it?

I have Turbo 2, it is working now I uninstalled updates then restarted my
phone. So it is working for now. Did I fix it or just put a temporary
bandaid on it. Thank you for replying
