Stock Camera App not working

Whenever I try to open the stock camera app, the screen goes black and it crashes.  I have done three factory resets and cleared the  data.  How do I get the camera to work? Is there anywhere I can reinstall this app?

Have you Soft Reset you Phone.?  Give that a Try or Go to the Apps then All and the Camera App or My Gallery and clear the Cache you could also Clear the Data but i would Try the Cache First.

Hey catherine32!

Wow! I can certainly understand wanting to take pictures with that great camera on your phone! Let's get that fixed ASAP! When did this start? Was it after an app was installed? I understand that you did a factory reset, but have you also done this for the memory card? There isn't a way to reinstall the application since it is pre-loaded on the phone. Also, have you tried going into the camera all different ways (lock screen, apps, while composing a message to make an attachment)? And do they all make the camera still close out? We may need to replace the device if it is still having problems. Please let us know !
