Not seen this answered but I have a Maxx and a Nexus. Had the Maxx before june 28th and was wondering if I took my Sim and put it in the nexus would i get forced onto a new plan?

No, you won't be forced into the new plans.  It isn't considered an upgrade.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Never hurts to check these days, but if it's any extra assurance, I swapped devices in the past week and nothing about my unlimited plan changed.

swapping a device isn't upgrading.

If you don't make any changes to your service or sign a new (or renewed) contract, you don't get bumped to Share Everything. Swap away!

If you want to go on the plan without equipment upgrade and it will benefit your situation, you can switch to the plan. Every time vzw switches plans I have stayed on their old plan as long as I could before having to upgrade. You should be able to switch to a share plan without extending a contract, unless you upgrade equipment.
