Does anyone know if the Droid Razr has the capabilities to send text messages through bluetooth? Reason Im asking is because I bought a car that can read text messages but my current phone doesn't support it.

From what I am seeing there, is an APP that has to be loaded to play the text message, and to "Push" it to the bluetooth device. I also saw where people said it only works with certain Motorola devices, so it may or may not work. I would certainly ask a Verizon CSR or tech support at the store before assuming it would or wouldn't.

My wife and I both drive Chrysler and Dodge vehicle's the Razr works great with the U-connect hands free systems that are standard in both vehicles. I simply push the hands free button in my truck and say "SMS" it replies "do you want to send or read a message?'" and you are off to the races! Too cool! and no additional apps needed.
