Use of and access to "In emergency" app on my Razr Maxx??

When I delve into my "manage apps" on my Razr Maxx (not HD) I find an app with the logo of a circle with a red cross labeled "In emergency".  But when I look for it among the apps preloaded on my phone by Verizon, it is nowhere to be found.  I'm a dialysis patient and it would be handy to be able to display this app on my home screen with my medical information.  I know that one can buy and/or download such apps, but if one is already installed, I'd like to be able to access it.  I'm new to this particular phone.  Does anyone know anything about the preloaded "in emergency" app and how to access it?  Thanks,

Bob in KS.

Never mind.  I finally found the "in emergency" icon at the very beginning of the "People" app listing my contacts.  It would be nice to be able to move it to my home screen, but I guess I can download one for that location.

If you use the PIN screen lock, the Emergency Contacts appear automatically on the home screen.  Of course, the downside is that you have to enter your PIN every time you want to use your phone (but that's also a security feature).

Again I'm hampered by only having a RAZR M with Jelly Bean in front of me, but there is a setting that allows you to put owner information on the Lock Screen.  Settings > Security > Owner Info.  I have put "If Found" info there and it appears on my Lock Screen without having to create a PIN..

Thanks for that. I'll check it out. I had a Blackberry and am new to the Android game.

Best wishes,
