VZWNM text messages

receiving daily text messages from VZWNM...any ideas what that is?  My local VZ store has no clue.  I have the RAZR 4G

I'm getting them also on my Samsung Illusion. If anyone has any idea what that's all about please let me know. It's very irritating.    Smiley Sad

Search of the community will find other messages about the same thing. It is related to Backup Assistant Plus and it is something you have to disable in the line's features through your MyVerizon account.

I can surely look into the messages you are getting from VZWNM scottyz & LouisvilleGal. Please give me additional details such as the number that the message comes from. Also, what do the messages say? Is it the same message or different messages? I look forward to hearing back from you both.

I'm still getting these annoying texts from vzwnmn:1 the number it's coming from is 6450. Please for the love of God how do I stop these things...please give me a step by step procedure for getting these things to stop!!!!

Yes I did...and it worked without any problems or loss of services.

Hi Scott - follow the directions below and this will resolve the issue.

Login to your Verizon account.

2. Click on “Account” at the top and then “Change Features” from the bottom right.

3. Select the device you would like to remove the service from.

4. Then scroll down until you find “Contact Management” and click “Remove.”

im getting same i just got iphone im pretty sure it has something to do with people that have the verizon online services i.e like i am the primary phone number along with i am the one who can sign in online to review update upgrade etc online at verizon wireless the reason im assuming this is because both me and my son just got iphone 5 im getting them hes not but of course verizon wireless has no idea why and its pretty aggervating paying $200 bucks a month for phones and services and yet no one has a reason, answer or solution to my problem ive even got a new phone with new sim card within 4 days of getting first iphone and still getting same messages i hope someone comes up with a answer and suolution soon.

My Rep Says it has something to do with the Verizon's Cloud Backup but has no clue how to stop it. It is very annoying..I get the same message like every 10 minutes
