What screen protectors do people use for the RAZR MAXX?

As the title says, I am looking for your feedback on the best screen protector for the RAZR MAXX. I will be purchasing 2 of them over the next week or so, and have used REALOOK protectors on my other phones.  Is that the best kind? Are there others? I know when I first purchased my Fascinate 2 years ago, I bought the Verizon protector, and it made the screen look darker, so I ditched that one for the REALOOK.

I know there will be people who will post that there is no need for it, or how the Gorilla glass will stop most scratches or marks, but I am going to put one on them just to be safe.

Thanks in advance for your ideas.

I like the Zagg Invis-shield brand. I have one of those on my old Droid Eris and HTC Thunderbolt. The Galaxy Nexus has a Verizon Wireless screen protector on it because that's the way it came to me. I still haven't gotten around to peeling it off and replacing it with a Zagg.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I agree with Ann.   Zagg Invis-shield is top of the line.

Ann with those Zagg. Protectant screen protectors I was thinking they had to apply them with some kind of wet Solution like you do when applying window Tint. If that's so!  Or this seemed the Case at the Time i looked at the Product that's why i stayed away from it..

I don't use them ... The Gorrilla glass on mine looks brand new still ..  I bought a set for my DX but removed the very 1st one after about a month ....  Just seems to make the swiping gestures much better without one over the glass.  I just make it a point to never put my phone in a pocket along with my keys or coins.   YMMV

I Personally don't use one either i had one stuck on my X when i first got it an to me it mucked up the Screen an when i found out it Had Gorilla i never Looked back to putting one on it. Now i Do Put something on my screens that i would say Most people Don't an that is i Use a Glass Lens Cleaner an Protectant. Called Protek i started using this Cleaner a Long time ago on my glasses that have Plastic Lenses an it's great an makes the Screen really shine but it's a little slick on the side And when i use it i don't spray it directly on the Phone i put some on my Class rag an Rub it on the Lens i then let it Dry then a few seconds later Wipe it off an as said it makes the Lens Pop with Clear shine..

U can use this Lens Cleaner For Cameras,Tv's an Computer Screens the old style Screens an is a Good Anti-Static an Anti Fog. For Lenses.

You don't need a screen protector.  I don't use one and I don't use a case.  I'm just very careful with my phone.

Guess I'm paranoid... With all the reports of broken/cracked screens, I got the Otterbox Defender for mine.  It came with a built-in screen protector.  Honestly, I've not had any issues with it degrading the sensitivity that I've been able to tell.

A Good Case to go with Sniff.!  But don't worry about it to much you'll be fine.

While I respect everyone's decision to use a protector or not, I was looking for good and / or bad protectors, not to debate the idea of using it. Did I necessarily need it for my Fascinate? No, probably not, as I am careful with the phone also. But I put it on it anyway, and I will be doing the same with the MAXX just in case... I want to know that I have extra protection for the screen.

Ann154 and Indian, thanks for the suggestion of Zagg, I will look into them.

Bearone21, thanks for your suggestion on the Verizon protectors.

Sniff, thanks for suggesting the Otterbox Defender, I have heard good things about Otterbox, I will look into it.

I had the Zagg Invishield installed on my Thunderbolt within a few days of getting the device. I wasn't worried about it. It get removed fairly quickly in the installation process.

You can also buy very good generic screen protectors at Wal Mart, Target, etc. that you cut and fit to your device.  They are much cheaper and work just as well.  I use them on my girlfriend's e-reader and have used them on my phones.  They are also anti-glare as well!  Hope that helps.
