When is Verizon or Motorola going to admit there are issues with Jelly Bean?

Has anyone heard of either company actually admitting that the recent updates have caused thousands of customers to have issues with their phones that they did NOT have before? Below is the list of things I have gone through in an attempt to get my streaming audio back, to no avail. All I want to hear is that they know and will fix it, but all I ever get from the companies involved are more procedures that dont work.
The update is to blame, by process of elimination. I bought the Razr Maxx to replace a Droid X. I used both successfully with my J&M Audio bluetooth helmet (HS-BLU277EDRI-N103), the X for about 18 months, and the Razr from September until it updated itself mid-January. Since then, audio streaming will only work if I clear both devices, and then only one time (until I close "My Music", or Slacker etc). Once closed, the phone will only play audio through the phone speaker. On the "Paired Devices" screen, the helmet is shown with "Connected, no media". If I go into the settings for the helmet, both phone and media audio boxes are checked. The phone function itself seems to work fine. The following are the troubleshooting steps so far:
1) Soft reset
2) Factory reset
3) Replacement phone
4) Attempt at replacement with Maxx HD (along with several other phones all using BT 4.0 as part of the update: same exact results)
5) Helmet firmware update (2 weeks and $60 in shipping)
6) Hours on the phone with Verizon and Motorola (who blamed it on each other)
7) System Version: 6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.us Android Version: 4.0.4 (?) in mid-January
😎 Updated again since then to 4.1.2 and Verizon 98.72.16.XT912 with no changes in behavior other than now it will not even work the one time.
9) Soooooo many different methods of pairing/unpairing and turning this or that on or off at certain times that it would be easier to mount a home stereo on my bike and use records.
The helmet has and still will successfully pair and retain full functionality with iPhones, and my old Droid X running 2.3(?). The only factor that has changed is the upgrade to BT 4.0. I am told that it is backwards compatible but it is definitely not. Even the brand new Moto headset I bought last week, capable of receiving streaming audio, does not. So thanks to the updates, I have several hundred dollars worth of gear that I purchased to be used SPECIFICALLY with my Verizon Motorola phone that I can no longer use.
Step up Verizon and Motorola and ADMIT THE UPDATE DOES NOT PERFORM AS ADVERTISED!!!

Process of elimination. Have tried at home, work, various parking lots, and with about 5 different phones ALL using the latest update, and all with the exact same result. The new version of BT in Jelly Bean simply will not stream audio like the earlier version. If they say something is backwards compatible (and they have/are saying this), then why will my old Droid X (Bluetooth 2.1) still perform flawlessly? Why will iPhone 4's (Bluetooth 2.1 and/or 3.0 I think)?
My audio format is still supported according to the specs, but simply no longer works with Jelly Bean.

I know this will not help but, the bluetooth headset I purchased for my wife works great and it pairs with our car and our sound bar in the livingroom (Motorola Droid Razr) 98.72.16.XT912.Verizon.en.US
However I did not upgrade over the air but from a android web site and placed it on my external sd card. I believe this made the difference in why we had no issues and upgraded functionality has been great.
Please note when I mention these bluetooth devices I mean the Razr connects with no problems.
It also had no internet issues and none of the problems others have complained about in other threads.
unfortunately when you say thousands have these issues I cannot say that is accurate. The hope is when large numbers of owners have updated to the Jelly Bean and are complaining inmase then Motorola will issue a patch to verizon to get out to the affected users.
Of course now that Google owns Motorola Mobility and has laid off loads of workers it may never issue an os patch.
