When will I get my Droid Turbo 2 update to 24.31.22?

My Droid Turbo 2 will not update to 24.31.22. It seems to be stuck on 24.14.16. It is my understanding that this version was released about a month ago, so it has more than enough time to have rolled out to all phones. I have wiped cache partition, factory reset phone, tried OTA update in settings, and tried the downloadable PC Upgrade Assistant Software. Nothing works. I read in other android forums that others were having this issue. But, no one has posted a resolution.

So, I hope surely someone in the Verizon Community "might" have a solution. Smiley Sad

The Droid Turbo 2 Software Update was released on October 3rd. You will get it, not all at once, but you will. It is in fact issued OTA in batches, and there is no way to tell when you will get it, but you will soon. Most of the time if it is on hold it's due to something being broken. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want an SW update if it was broken.

My droid turbo 2 is running Android 6.0 (not 6.0.1 which if the update that enables wifi calling) when going into settings to update phone software, I get a message saying that my software is up to date.

Verizon needs to be more transparent and straightforward with its customers, [Removed]

Now the details.... 2 nights ago I called into Verizon and I spoke to a tier 1 rep, I explained the issue I was having regarding the update and the rep had no idea what I was talking about I asked to be transferred to a supervisor the supervisor knew what I was talking about and then proceeded to explain to me that I had to talk to Motorola as they control the update the supervisor connected me with Motorola after being connected the supervisor hung up while taking to Motorola, the rep confirmed that they are not responsible for pushing the update to the phone they explained that google is is the company that released the update to Verizon for their review, Verizon is responsible to review the update to ensure it won't cause issues on their network and then it's Verizon's call when to push to phones.... so I called back Verizon and this time I requested a tier two individual and then I explained exactly what just happened and the rep told me that he was stunned that the tier-1 supervisor transferred me to Motorola as there was no reason to be transferred to Motorola as he agreed it was Verizon's call to make regarding when to push the update to phones. He then proceeded to tell me that although the update was released October 3rd it was being done in batches and that I should have the update within the week and it seems like he knew what he was talking about and he was pretty certain of that. The following day (yesterday) on my lunch break I went to a Verizon retail store and inquired about the update the store rep told me that the update was pushed as of October 3rd and has been pushed to all phones and the push is now complete as all Droid Turbo 2 devices should now have the update.... when I called back Verizon 800 number that evening and requested a tier 2 rap that rap is the one who informed me that the update has been placed on hold and that there is no time at this point announced of when the hold will be removed.

It seems to me that there's so much contradicting information being provided by Verizon reps that it makes me question do they even know what they're talking about

None yet. Last word is it is on hold by Verizon with no ETA on re-release.

Same run around here. 6 hours on the phone 3 different times, two phone calls to Motorola, found out insurance is worthless because replacement phone is through Motorola and they won't replace a phone lost or stolen. Happy to know I am not the only one with problems but Verizon tech support is worthless.

I've heard of update problems for this device in the past. First you need to use the upgrade assistant, but make sure that when you're plugging in the phone via USB that you are plugging it in to a USB 2.0 port on the computer. Apparently the software upgrade assistant doesn't work well with USB 3 ports.

Give it a shot if you haven't already.
