Why can I not browse while on a phone call and not on wi-fi?

My husband and I had Droid HD Maxx before we bought Droid Turbos. I could access email, browse the internet and anything like that without being attached to a wi-fi while on a phone call. Since buying the Droid Turbo, I have not been able to multi-task while on a phone call if I am not attached to wi-fi...Is there a way to fix that? Why did they change that feature? It sucks! Especially when I need to look something up while I am on a phone call!

You need to activate Advanced Calling. You can find this feature in Settings on the phone. It will allow voice and data simultaneously.
