Why is there a rainbow screen while charging?

After the last update for my Galaxy 5, now when my phone is charging it displays a rainbow screen, in checking other forums it said to turn off the developer options.  I have done that and this still displays.  Is there any way to turn off this annoying screen?

Go to settings click on display then scroll down to daydream click on it and turn it off. That is why it does that.
