Will my Driod Maxx work with a german sin in eurpe?

I have a DRIOD MAXX  Limited Edition. Will it require unlock codes to use a german carrier sim card in europe?

Thanks so much for asking, dmpaul1. Do you currently have Verizon service? If so, the Droid Maxx comes unlocked to use in another country for international travels.  If you do not have service with us, we would not be able to assist with using the device with a different carrier.
