Windshield Mount for RAZR

Does anybody know if it is possible to use the windshield mount without taking a case off of the RAZR? Are there cases that you don't have to take off while the phone is in the mount?

The newer phones have started that trend to do that now. I know with the bionic can and home dock u can and I think the home dock for razr u can so I assume the car dock u can. It says it on the box if it can and tells u what kind can u fit like the thickness of cover.

I bought the bundle (HD Station, Car Mount, etc) when I upgraded to the RAZR. The car mount has an insert that can be removed when using a case. The Verizon rep threw in a free silicone cover and the phone mounted fine to the car mount.

Off topic - I've since purchased the ZAGG Maximum skin and will be putting that on soon. The directions say to leave the phone off for 12-24 hours because you use the supplied solution to position the skin on the phone and it MIGHT enter the open ports. Ummmm, yeah...
