I have just upgraded from a Droid X to a Razr Maxx and, when setting up my Yahoo e-mail account on my Razr, none of my personalized e-mail folders have transferred from my computer account to my Razr device. Is there a fix for this problem? I need to be able to file e-mails to separate, business related project files that I have set up on my computer.

Have you considered downloading the Yahoo email app?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I agree with Ann and B33 suggestion, another thing to consider, if you are using Outlook to read emails if it is set to download the files to the PC the files wont be still on the server and the emails wont show up in the app because it recieved the emails from the server not you PC;;
If this is the case then you may have to use a 3rd party app to sync the emails from the PC to device by USB... Check out this link...http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2382337,00.asp
