Are you charging with a wall charger or USB? USB will not charge the phone that well as they are underpowered. particularly if the battery is very low. I would still call tech support and see what they can do to help you.

Huh! Do you mean to say whether the person is using his computer to recharge the Maxx? Even the wall charger uses a USB connection to connect from the wall charger to the Maxx.

The USB port on a PC will charge at a slower rate than from the wall outlet. It also will not charge as well or not at all if also using the phone while connected to a PC.

The USB cable is only the wire between the charger and the phone.

USB 2.0 ports on a PC have a max of 500ma output and that gets shared by the devices using the port.

The Verizon/Motorola charger for the wall has a dedicated 750ma out to recharge the phone battery.

This is what i would Try i would Do a Soft Reset on it. Your phone will come back on let it do that Then shut it off again and then Charge your Phone as you didn't specify witch you Had the Razr it should take About 2 1/2 to 3 hours to Charge While it will take the Maxx about 4 to 6 Hours to fully Charge i usually charge Mine from 4 to 6 then Pull off the Charger. And i Use all Motorola O.E.M. stuff to charge my Maxx's i have a Few that i can choose from.. But give that a Try an see if that works Let me Know good luck..b33

I usually turn my phone off at night and charge while I am in bed.  I use the wall charger that came with the phone.  I may, if using the nav, plug it in my car.  But even then, I use that on a limited basis as it is bad for the battery.
