Question

Can a Android be hacked via text? I recently got a text from a number I didnt  know ,but reading the text  at first I thought I knew the person.Then they sent a pic .I didnt know them, There were no links to click , so all i got was standard text and photo. Potential problems?    I have verizon digital secure and i check the google app security. So far nothing.

A simple text message should not breach the security of your device, but it is always best to be cautious. It is likely a wrong number, similar to how people can call wrong numbers as well. After realizing the message was not from someone you knew, is there any reason you are concerned that it could be a security issue on your device?
