how do i do a default reset to a droid razr hd?

raygun
Newbie

i disabled abunch of stuff on my first droid and the homescreen quit.  now i disabled all the google junk and i need to reset it to default and start over.  tried doing the power and volume thing.  no soap.  have to get emergency alerts and blue tooth up and running.  i used all my data plan in 2 days with the old phone that is why i shut off all the junk.  who needs gmail anyway when i have 3 others and a company droid razr hd maxx w/ email.  do i have to spend hours with a tech again and send this back for another phone?

You should be enjoying the most reliable performance from your Droid Razr HD raygun! What specifically did you remove from your handset? How were you able to do this? Apps that are factory installed can't be removed. In addition, you have to have a gmail account to run the device. You don't have to use it; however, it has to be active to for the device to run the OS. Here are the steps for a factory reset. http://tiny.cc/r3s7xw
