music transfer

my last droid could find most of my music and transfer to the device, however when I used the media manager in file assistant it only found about 10 songs, I have 1,000 and I want them in my phone any suggestions?

  1. Where are your 1,000 songs, on a Windows or Mac PC?
  2. How are you connecting your Droid to the PC, USB?
  3. Are you using a media manager program on the PC or just mounting the Droid like a drive and manually copying the files?

Hey there rj1957,

I use my phone for music a lot and I know it times to build up a collection of 1,000 songs so I want to make sure that we get all of them transferred. PhoneAgnostic asks some great questions. Please provide those details.  Are all your music stored to the same place? Is this music you've already had on your computer or was it downloaded through an application on a previous phone? Has all the music been downloaded through the same source?

Please provide additional details so that I can better assist.
