split screen on my moto z droid

this is really annoying me. it's like a shortcut to three icons.... wallpapers, widgets, and settings

I change my wallpaper almost on daily basis, and the bottom 1.5 inches of my screen is shaded a darker color..almost like a tint

what can I do to get rid of that?

I can defintiely understand how much of a nuisance it would be, having an area of the screen that is darker, BABBS6868. I want to make sure that I'm understanding the area that you are talking about. Is it along the bottom of the screen that always has a select few apps with it. Typically it has messaging, calls, and internet in there. Is this what you're talking about?
