I am trying to connect to my home wireless router. When I put in the password for the router, my phone just blinks back & forth that it is trying to connect. My husband's phone has not problem connecting and I am wondering if there is a problem with my phone.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Have you checked that your router isn't set up for MAC address filtering also. I have my router set up as WPA2-PSK and MAC address filtering so even if you have the shared key you won't connect unless your hardware MAC address is also on my list

Cyndiman, let's get your phone to stop blinking back and forth. Are you still having problems connecting to your home WiFi? Are you able to connect to other WiFi networks? If you haven't already, try removing the connection and setup again. You'll need to tap and hold the name and choose Forget. Reboot your phone and then attempt to connect again. If your phone is not connecting to any WiFi networks, it may be an issue with the connection in the phone. First attempt to boot into safe mode to see if a 3rd party app may be causing the issue http://bit.ly/S6vLGz. If no change in safe mode, I suggest completing a factory reset http://bit.ly/PfOnz8. Keep in mind that this will erase all data that is not saved on the SD card and reset phone to default settings. Make sure your contacts are saved to either Backup Assistant or Google.
