I purchased my motorola one 5G UW ace new from Walmart and activated it on Verizon on October 15 2024. I have owned it for the required 60 days. It should automatically network unlock but it's not. I'm requesting that you unlock or tell me how to do so. Thanks

I want to thank the live agents at Verizon. Network is unlocked 2 days ahead of estimated time. Less than 24 hours from my call. Incidentally I spent 2 days trying to speak to an agent and finally got a good number. 800-711-8300, shout out to:

Has the phone been used on Verizon for the 60 days? It's not simply a matter of waiting 60 days after purchase; the number associated with the phone has to be on Verizon for 60 days. Sometimes phones purchased through 3rd party sources don't automatically unlock for some reason. In which case, you will need plenty of proof of purchase and will probably have to wrangle with Verizon to get it unlocked.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Yes it was activated on Verizon for 67 days. They are going to have it unlocked by December 25. I didn't have to do anything but explain where and when I got it and they put an order to expedite it. Even said that the bootloader will be unlocked. New to me, I have rooted phones for years and can't recall a Verizon that could be.
