Data Boost

Data Boost is a joke. Every time I purchase 1 GB of data boost it's available to me immediately. Don't know why this time is any different than any other time, but it is. Purchased 2 GB of data boost because I used up my data and am in safety mode. Unfortunately I can't use my data boost so, like any other customer would do, I ask for help. Talked to both a Live Chat person and an actual tech on the phone. Both of them tell me that not only do I have to turn the safety mode off, but also that turning it off won't go into effect until next billing cycle. So basically I have 2 GB of data that I purchased that I can't use until next billing cycle. What's the point of a data boost? If I purchase data then I want that data now. Not next billing cycle. My data will reset then, so I won't need a data boost. And Lord knows that they can't just take the data boost off because I already purchased it. They just tell you there's an error and they can't take it off. Let's just waste my time and instead offer me different plans options instead of fixing my problem. I have never had this problem in the 10+ years I've been a Verizon customer. What the heck changed, Verizon? Your competition is starting to sound more and more of a winner these days.
