Online and App bill pay isnt working

I have attempted to pay my bill about 13 times today. The website and my verizon app will not work once you hit pay bill option. I called and the auto system sent me a text with a link to pay and when you open the link it says page not available. Then another text was sent that just said "test."

I cant seem to get a person on the phone at all. I have tried multiple options. I tried the call back option and it gives me dates starting on June 9th. I tried the chat and it just keeps the loading logo but never loads.

Wondering if there is some kind of IT issue as I haven't even been getting email notifications from the forums, and usually my inbox is overflowing with stuff from Verizon Community because I spend so much time here.

If all else fails, you can go to a corporate (not a 3rd party "authorized seller") Verizon store and pay your bill in person, but paying the bill shouldn't be this much hassle. Verizon needs to do better.

I have same problem , once you click “pay bill”

it just sits and spins nothing happens !! Same thing on a pc as well

Same ! It doesn’t work

Always pay my bill through the app, but this time it just spins forever and never loads my payment options or gives me an error. Been trying to pay for 2 weeks.

Cleared cache and reset my phone and all the usual troubleshooting. It will load everything in the app EXCEPT when I click “Pay Bill”.

I have been having this issue for the past 2 days. I’ve tried all the links that have been provided and as well as the #PMT. I’ve tried different browsers, incognito, every combination and I still just get the spin of death.

I ended up using the “Chat with us” and used the automated prompts to process the payment.

That's sad. It's possible the internet is just down and not related to Verizon per se because internet infrastructure is shared, but if the problem is with Verizon's IT, that's just silly that customers can't pay their bill. If all else fails, you can pay your bill in person at a corporate Verizon store.

I experienced this issue before and they ended up charging me late fees and disrupted my service and charging reconnection fees. I’m still fighting this stupidity which is causing serious inconvenience. Why should I pay for Verizon lack of professionalism and incompetence????

I had the same issue today but managed to pay over the phone by calling in the customer service number. Unfortunately it was a robot and not a person I could ask.

I’m going through the same thing. . I’ve been with Verizon for many years and it feels like the last three or four months. I’m getting more penalties for no reason and then they keep changing my due date and how much I owe. Over this I may have to go to another carrier. I’m serious thank you for sharing.

Ok that’s fine and all. But no way should Verizon be able to charge me a late fee when they’re app wasn’t working. I shouldn’t have to take different avenues like that just to pay my bill on time and be charged a late fee because I didn’t think of that solution. This was incredibly suspicious.

Just FYI I came here because it’s now January of 2025 and this is still happening to your customers. Totally ridiculous. I’m on day two of trying to pay mine.

Again, no one is “resting assured” since this is still happening 7 months later.

Same here, I've been trying for the last 3 days. Links in texts won't load, its just a black loading circle for infinity. I've tried the app on my phone, normal website, my work computer and my laptop at home and can't get into it. Shiiits ridiculous, do they not want my money?

Same here! I’ve been trying to make my payment for five days now the app doesn’t work and online website doesn’t work. I login it tells me I have a payment that’s past due. When I click on pay now it takes me to a screen that says my bill has been paid, which is completely untrue. my bill has not been paid! I did the chat with a rep and they sent me a link which didn’t work either. I’ve tried everything. You guys really need to fix this, it’s ridiculous that we can’t pay our bills and risk our service being suspended due technical issues with your app and website.

Did you check your bank account from the bank's website to see if any payments have been processed? It's possible that something did go through and the Verizon app/website glitched. If you've got a stored payment method in My Verizon, I'd check that to make sure something hasn't changed (credit or debit card expiration dates and CVV numbers change whenever you receive a new card, but Verizon's system does not automatically update that info, so you have to delete the payment method and re-enter it to reflect the updates). If that's not it, try using the one-time bill pay site:

or do a search on Verizon.com for "pay bill" to see other methods to try.

June 2025 this is still happening to your customers. My bill will not load. First time this has occurred for me and I don’t see a resolution on this forum. I’ve connected chat agents and tried to call in and couldn’t get an agent

I have been trying for months to get auto pay to work nobody can fix it. They are completely useless. I think the truistly system they are trying to use is the problem. Every month it’s a problem to pay and nobody bothers to actually fix it.
