When I try to block a number on my daughter's phone under "Block calls and messages" I get the error "We are unable to block (number) on this device(s): (her phone number)". I get the same error both within the MyVerzon App and on the website. This is very concerning as I am mom trying to protect her kid and am unable to put the proper barriers in place to block numbers from contacting my minor daughter. This is a BIG issue and would be cause for me to switch phone carriers if this isn't resolved as I need to be able to protect my kids. If Verizon can't let me do it I will go to someone who can.

We know the importance of being able to manage your child's line. The Call & Message Blocking blocks up to 5 phone numbers, if there are already 5 numbers blocked that may be the issue. That link does not provide any solutions to my problem. That link discusses spam calls and other services not trying to block a specific phone number. This information is not helpful and does not provide a solution to blocking a number from being able to contact my child’s phone number. I know how it is supposed to work on the app/website but it is not working because an error is being received as I mentioned in my original post. This is a matter of child safety and needing to block specific numbers from being able to contact my child. But adding numbers on the website to the blocked list is not working. It needs to be resolved so I can add the numbers to that list that I need to add.
