I'm currently waiting for my Pixel 9 pro XL and I'm curious if I need to wait for it to arrival before accessing my VZW app. BTW I'm a new customer. My primary Service is AT&T but I'm trying out Verizon

Yes, you need to wait until you've received the phone and your number has been successfully ported to Verizon (or if you're getting a new number, that the number is working on Verizon).  Otherwise, your My Verizon account will be a guest account only and you won't be able to link your line or do anything else with the account.

Thanks for the prompt response. I'm getting a new number for Verizon because I'm keeping my AT&T service too. Any idea if devices tend to ship quicker than UPS states? I tracked the device and its already went from CA to KY and I'm in OH. Says expected delivery is for the first but seeing as it's so close should I anticipate it coming Monday instead? Just wanna be sure I'm home to sign for it.

You're most welcome!  I can't say whether or not UPS will deliver earlier than expected.  While packages can arrive earlier (I recently ordered some stuff from 2 other online retailers and several of the shipments did show up earlier than expected via UPS and the plain old p.o.), there's no telling what's going to happen.  Can you get text alerts sent to your phone regarding the package, so whenever it reaches "out for delivery" status, you can then make arrangements to be at home?

Thats a great idea. I see on UPS website I can setup notifications or I can pre sign for it, so they leave it. I have cameras and I live in a safe area so that wouldn't be an issue. I appreciate your kindness. Have a wonderful weekend!

Ak3rs89 That is a great question. Most times they don't come before the date that it says it will be there. So if the tracking is showing for the first then I would expect it to be there no sooner than that date.
