Registered with Verizon just to voice a cr@p experience I had with Verizon and Verizon App Manager. I have what is now a measured service with a carrier that changed over to Verizon. Went to use my phone over the weekend and found I had no internet service to access Google. Of course I needed to wait until Monday to contact customer service to find out all my data had been used up for the month in about 3 days and if I wanted more data I would need to BUY it. Spent hours on the phone with different customer service and then went to a Verizon store where I described the problem and showed an incompetent worker my phone. He told me it wasn't a Verizon app so Verizon couldn't help. Since I had NO internet service I couldn't Google it until I returned home and sure enough here it all is in discussion. I normally use around 1 gig each month, the app used over 5 in a couple days. I did wonder why my battery kept running down. It's a cr@p app and Verizon service was no better. Now I need to decide if I should buy more data for two weeks or ride the two weeks out. Not at all happy with Verizon and yes, I did find out on my own how to disable the app.
