CANNOT BLOCK NUMBERS WITHOUT CONSTANTLY BEING ASKED TO LOG IN AGAIN

I am responsible for a senior on my plan who doesn’t understand spam calls .. She just answers all of the calls not knowing they are not known numbers. This person lives out of state. I am the owner of the account and have tried blocking numbers for her, since she does not understand the process.
Yet VZ makes me log in everytime, after I have already logged in. When I select her device and ask to block calls to that number, VZ pulls up my phone number as the phone to block calls. I do not need that.
Does anybody else have this issue? I had to chat with someone to have them do the blocking for me.
I am so frustrated with this company, esp since they constantly know how to ask if we want to upgrade, but seem to have no other abilities.
