Has anyone received an email from UPS that you have a package from Verizon for VERIZON Fios D2C-CTV DS package? I never ordered anything and nothing in my notifications. When I googled it others had the same issue and when they called Verizon the operator had no clue. I'm thinking it's not a legit order but if so why wouldn't Verizon be aware of it if so many others questioned it?

I’ve been receiving these same email notifications from what appears to be a legit UPS site. The tracking number only points to delivery of the unit to my hometown. I haven’t called Verizon, but I suspect they’ll be clueless like they were to you.

Apparently this has been going on for at least three years. One reply in the Reddit thread said it is a tracking number for a box being sent by Verizon to your home to use for returning equipment you no longer use or that which is in exchange for new equipment you had installed recently. While we went through two years ago, a search in our email addresses show no result for the UPS tracking number Verizon is now sending (again), so it must be a glitch (or hoax).https://www.reddit.com/r/Fios/comments/nezd61/what_is_this_mysterious_shipment/
