Lost tracking number

I sent in two IPhone 12 pro max when we upgraded to the 13. The man at verizon packaged it up to where we just had to drop it off for it to be shipped out. We can't find the tracking number and verizon is stating they have not received it and is trying to charge us $1,000 for the phones. Is there anyway I can find the tracking number because the lady at customer service said they have no way to find the tracking number unless we had it.

We can understand the importance of getting this information, Hailey, because $1000 is a lot of money. However, if we did not sen dyou the shipping label, we do not have the tracking information. If you received the tracking label from the agent at he store, I would advise you to reach out to them for assistance with obtaining the number.

yep, just happened to me. Verizon sent me the shipping label, printed and attached to return and dropped off. Two months later, they never received it, never got any of the tracking info emails they supposed would of sent to me when i sent it in and this whole thing has become a nightmare with one of the worst customer service agents. My account literally shows return was shipped, how the heck do they not have the ability to see the tracking information that they provided to me via their website at the time return was started.

I have been going through the wringer with Verizon since May 2023 in regards to the same thing…only they want $1,400.00 from me. I have spent a total of 20 + hours getting the run around with them. I have tried to get a hold of FedEx and that’s another joke. I have also called asurion and they told me that was a warranty and came from Verizon and not them. I have had enough of wasting my time and getting upset about it, I’m about ready to hire a lawyer over this! I wonder how many people actually fall into this and pay it! Has anyone here been able to do something to get this resolved?

I am going through the same thing. I sent in my old phone that had a broken charging port. I called after I sent it in and chatted with a Verizon rep on their live chat. Both people assured me that they had received the phone and all was good. I kept getting weird texts saying that it hadn't been sent back yet, so I called again and was assured again that the phone had been received at the warehouse..... So I threw away the receipt from UPS as anyone would. A month later, I am charged $999 for the phone they never received. It made me sick that they did it. I asked them to review all the chats and calls (because they always say they are recorded before you start talking) but nothing was resolved. They now have opened a "Lost/Stolen Phone Ticket" and hope to get it resolved in 7-10 days..... I am not holding my breath. I am openly searching for new carriers while they are allegedly "taking care of it for me".
