iPhone 16 Pro Max Shipping to Wrong Address

I am ridiculously frustrated. I’m in the process of switching from T-Mobile to Verizon, and I already have a really bad taste in my mouth about Verizon. They had to use my old address for the credit check because I just moved to a new state a few weeks ago. The agent told me at the store he could change the address after the order was processed so that it would ship to the right address.
However, this morning when I got my tracking information from Verizon, it showed that it was going to the wrong address. I have contacted UPS and Verizon multiple times today. Verizon keeps saying that they can help, but after giving them all the information over and over again, they say, oh we can’t do anything about that. Really?
So finally they give me a number to call, cool, too bad I don’t have a phone which I explained to them. I asked if there was not a chat or email? The last rep I spoke to said yes and gave me a link. It just brings me to Verizon, a chat box pops up, I do the whole thing all over again, just to be told I had to call.
It was just in the label created stage all day but now it has actually shipped and will be delivered to the wrong address 600 miles away on November 13th.
Is this even real? Why? How? This should be such a simple fix. I feel like I made a huge mistake switching to Verizon 😞
