I recently ordered the switch 2 console bundle from Verizon on June 18, 2025 through my Verizon account. I then received an order confirmation and a order shipment confirmation (with a FedEx shipment number) that afternoon. In the evening I received an email informing me that my order had been canceled and that if I thought the cancelation was in error I should contact Verizon at 888-483-7200. I called the number and after jumping through multiple hoops to prove that I was infact the account holder (including using the my Verizon app to take photos of my drivers license and a current photo of myself) I was informed that my order was canceled but in the interest of my security I could not be informed as to why it was canceled. I requested a survey so that I could relay how dissatisfied I was with this service/explanation but it was never received even though the operator assured me that I would receive one. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Is it common for Verizon to cancel an order and refuse to give any reason why it was canceled?
