CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARES - 2023

having similar problems with Verizon, Verizon OnPhone and OnLine Customer Service has me in a continuous loop since the beginning of May 2023 (so we're now on 6 weeks of this), their own corp stores are frustrated with them because I'm not the only one who's come in to the stores with directions, incl screen shots, fr Verizon OnPhone and OnLine Customer Service only those directions are not accurate and actually in one case lead to another customer losing not just use of his phone but also his phone number!

They apologize profusely,  tell me 'it won't happen again, tell me they'll call me back within 3-5 business days, they don't call me back within 7, I call them they tell me then they'll call me back within (7) business days, they don't, then I call back after (14) calendar days and can't get a person, and their automated system just says 'we're sorry you're having a problem, good bye' and hang the phone up.

what dept did you finally go to in order to get actual assistance instead of just this '3rd world kind of run around' 

I never thought Verizon would be the least reliable telecom, it's tanked over the last few years and this kind of no customer service-customer service is a sign that it's downward spiral isn't going to turn around.
