Asurion tells me I need to access my Verizon account to speak with a rep regarding the options for my malfunctioning phone. I cannot sign in because two factor authentication requires answering a push notification or text message.

Thank you for reaching out to us novem13er. We're sorry for the issues you're encountering with your device. Please allow me to clear up some concerns. If the device has any physical/liquid damage or gets lost or stolen, then an insurance claim would need to be done with Asurion. You would pay a deductible and get a replacement device. However, if there is no damage on the device you can do a warranty exchange with us and get a replacement device with no deductible being charged. Our customer's safety is our top priority, so there wouldn't be a way to bypass the authentication method. However, you can visit one of our stores with a valid ID so that they can assist you if you are unable to authenticate your account.
