Change Email Request - never sends email confirmation

I'm a current Verizon 5G home internet user.   I'm switching email providers and will be taking my time throughout 2024 to do so.  I have access to both my old and new emails. 

when attempting to use Verizons myverizon.com profile/email change utility, it never sends the confirmation email to my old email address.     I've checked all spam/junk filters.   I've tried this multiple times over the past 2 months.

also, while I understand a time limit in performing this request, 120 seconds seems a little small given the fact that sending an outbound email for confirmation/validate is reliant on the internet and OTHER mail servers ... most other companies using such validation have a 10 minute more realistic limit

it never sends any email ... checked all folders/filters/spam/etc ... 

 

same w/password reset ... never sends an email ... obsurd
