Hey everyone,
I hope you're all doing well! I have a quick question about Verizon's phone unlock policy, and I'd love to hear your thoughts or experiences.
I'm an international student from India. I'm considering getting a new phone through Verizon's installment plan while trading in my old one. However, I rely on my Indian SIM card for essential tasks like banking operations back in India.
I've heard that Verizon usually locks phones until they're fully paid off, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if they might consider unlocking it after a certain period, like 60 days, even if it's not entirely paid off. This would really help me manage my communication and banking needs effectively.
If anyone has any insights or advice on this, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance for your help."

Thank you for reaching out! It is always good to know your options when traveling. In this case, all our devices can be unlocked after 60 days of them being active on our Verizon service. We hope this information helps!
