Forced unwanted Game App Downloads

Why does Verizon feel that it can push random games to my phone with the Security and OS Updates. My phone storage is mine, not Verizon's.

While not the first time, I just downloaded the new Security update and had 3 random games download. I don't want these and each time, I have to waist my time uninstalling these games.

Is there a way to stop the App downloads from Verizon that do not pertain to Security and OS Updates?

Overreach like this, is what is driving me to look at other providers. So please make the unwanted application downloads stop and stick with Security and OS Updates only.

... nevermind, there are 2 reply buttons. apparently you have to use the big one at the bottom

go to settings, apps, verizon app manager

scroll to bottom and click disable

I pay a lot of money for this account and I Should Not Have Games Crammed Down My Throat!!!

If I wanted those games I would download them!

I just spent 2 hours with a Verizon tech in chat for him to tell me it must be a virus to do a factory reset, yeah right, are you kidding me, the virus if any is your update!!!!
