I Switched my entire family from AT&T to Verizon Wireless, ordering 5 lines service as they were offering a FREE PHONE to switch. Went to a Verizon Store in central Pennsylvania and was instructed to do this online as the deal being offered was an $800 credit on each line reimbursed over 36 months (Verizon advertised no contact but I  hate to inform the world this is a contact) the second part was to be a $200 bill credit 1 to 2 billing cycles after phone numbers were ported and activated (this part was only offered online according to the store I visited, first red flag I missed  as ordering online  clearly  Verizon's can claim a number of loop holes or bait and switch to backout on their commits).  This making the phone free over time as they advertised in both print and TV ads (false advertising second red flag). The funny part of this was the AT&T salesperson I was speak with too way the decision to switch told me this would happen.  After speaking to customer service and a supervisor with customer service on 8-2-23 they stated this program never existed, clearly stated on my paperwork is the following (Get $200 when you switch , in fine print was per line of newly activated service) but this program never existed according to customer service. The Real World refers to this as bait and switch Verizon!!  My suggestion if you are looking to switch wireless companies run away and find a more reputable company to do business as Verizon in posting after posting customers are experiencing the same bail and switch practices as I have.  Verizon, please explain how phone is free per your advertising if the credit don't add up to the phone being free?
