Agent had to add a new line to get new phone to activate. Said there would be no change in plan or charges once new phone activated because they would remove new line. Now the new phone has a new number. I missed seeing the email that asked to turn the old and new devices off, wait and turn the new phone on. Then to call a test number to verify phone service and text someone to verify texting. Did that and both functions work, but the new line number is still assigned to the new phone. How can I get the old number back on the new phone. Old phone galaxy note 9, new phone galaxy s24 plus.
