I have been on and off with this issue for the last 8 months with no resolution. I upgraded my phone but decided to keep my old phone number, which ended up locking me permanently out of my Verizon wireless account because it requires a phone number that came with the phone when it was purchased. I can't even log in to do payments, I have to use the one time payment portal. I'm not even able to see my account number nor change anything regarding that account.
Just spent another hour waiting in a chat only for the rep to talk off topic about my internet service and ignore my original concern of wireless access.
All I want is access to my account so I can see my account number and PIN.
