- Long story short, my phone dropped out of my pocket at work into a compactor.. it is completely inoperable, smashed and bent. I'm on a different phone trying to log into my account and unable to because of 2 factor authentication. I have no way to approve or deny the login from my broken phone. Verizon really needs to do something about this because it seems to be an ongoing issue. Somebody please help me!!!!

We're sorry to hear about your phone! I've heard of phones being damaged in many different ways, but a compacter if a first. We still want you to be able to get the help you need. If you're trying to get an insurance replacement, please use this link: https://www.asurion.com/claims/verizon/ If you need assistance with anything else in your account, please let us know.

Can't Verizon offer a different means for 2 factor authentication like sending the user an email in case their phone is unavailable? Phones get lost, stolen, or damaged all the time, so it would be nice if we could get a code emailed to us as an alternative.
