I set up a new Verizon account 11/2023 and was talked into going with the most expensive plan by a Verizon agent. I was told I would actually save money in the end since I would receive 3 promotional offers (2nd gen airpods, a $200 verizon gift card, & $100 verizon gift card) and could use these toward my first 3 bills. Previously when I logged into my account it showed these 3 offers would be available as of 1/13/24, but they never became available and then disappeared from my account. I chatted with an agent online and they told me there is no record of the offers & that they cannot access the prior chat transcript where an agent made these promises. I'm told there's nothing they can do & that I cannot email them the chat transcript I copied or the screenshot showing I was supposed to get the offers. This seems totally shady and I'm regretting ever switching to Verizon. Has anyone else run into this? Is there any way to get a real human being and to get them to honor the promised offers
