No service and all account info gone

In a temporary apartment due to work being done at my residence. I received notice that I will be moving on on Thursday so I called to have service turned on at my residence. I was then told my move in date changed so I cancelled the Verizon turn appointment. Well its been really bad ... I woke up to NO service and then was told all 20 years of account info was gone. How can you just delete 20 years of account info and make someone start fresh? I am starting to think all this done in the name of getting more money. I do not understand how you can have a faithful customer... no equipment moved ... the boxes are still in place... everything as it was when it was working. Everone is trying to sell .... no one is trying to listen to what i am saying. my service was turned off by Verizon ... Simply turn it back on. I will never forget the aggravation i experienced today
