I am a brand new mobile and Fios customer. After a week and a half, I was worried that my
bills were not showing up in the Verizon app, so I called support…and correctly linked my mobile account (which I had not setup yet) to my Fios account. I can now see my mobile bill and details…yay!!! But…I could not still see my Fios bill or any details. I was transferred to Fios support, whom tried to walk me through linking my account to my mobile account when, bam! I saw it was a different account number and mentioned this to him….he then said “ah ok…mobile had to unlink the “dummy” Fios account and then we can re-link your actual account.
what I suspect is, about 2/3 years ago, I was going to switch to Verizon…but, a family emergency came up and I ended up not being available for the tech and then just kept paying for the while…so anyway when that happened, I suspect my email address was used to create an account that is linked to nothing….
long story short…my email is linked to a dummy Fios account…and now that account is linked to mobile…how can I unlink this and link it to the correct account? I have now been on the phone for an hour and a half…being bounced around from Fios to mobile…back to Fios. Please help!
