PORTING PHONE NUMBER

My 89 year old mother had to give up her farm to move to an assisted living facility. She did so.   Knowing all this we got everything ready. On Dec 12th she got s ohone with an assigned number because they were to port her number. It was working with a new number till Dec 20th which we are finding out when they first started to port the number from the former company. Which is not true, but there was a problem that noone told us contacted us anything! Just had it in a message SOMEWHERE! that my mother can not read cause she is blind. So when I started questioning things calling to no avail we found out. Her name was miss spelled. The names were wrong, the address where she had lived for over 60 years was put in wrong....one thing after another! Here is a kicker too.... they had verizon service before..  anyway....the 23rd I corrected all of this with the porting people. They told me 3 hours to 10 days! This is ridiculous  for anyone. Since the 2rd now she can call out. NOONE can call in. Still unacceptable... now the 26th of December she still can not get calls. Had to pay another phone bill on a phone she should owe nothing because it does not work!! WHAT DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DO TO GET THIS FIXED!! I have never been as frustrated as I am right now! Why Why Why would you disconnect the temporary  number and NOT make sure everything is working!!! I doubt I hear anything back and I really do not care... JUST FIX THIS!!
