Hi. We have a very old utility box on our front lawn which I believe is for the old landline phone service. It has been hit by a snowplow at least once I would guess and has some exposed wires. I have to assume it is non-functional and we don’t use the landline service anymore. How can we have this utility box removed?

Hi. Is there someone from @Anonymous monitoring this forum? I'd like to at least know who I can talk to about this old utility post on my lawn. I have spoken with the town, who has referred me back to Verizon. I think the next step is probably the state public utilities department. I have tried calling Verizon but it is circular logic, because I don't have a landline phone account and they keep telling me I've called wireless support.
