My motorcycle died out last night and I called roadside through Verizon Wireless and the tow truck guy came within 40mins, he took my motorcycle and put it up onto the tow bed, I was on the phone with a friend for a ride and noticed the driver he jumped off the flat bed, “so I’m thinking wow he hook that up quick” the driver stepped off to go and check is cell phone for a text message and as soon as he hoped up on the steps of his rig, my custom Motorcycle that was New Rolled right off the Flatbed and continued to roll down this slope and roll over and crash. The Tow driver yelled over to me, “Why didn’t you run and save your bike before it rolled off” I was on the other side of the road on the phone and the driver is the one who took possession. Then I said what the fast why didn’t you strap my bike down and He said thought it be OK, I said you thought it would be ok to keep it in neutral, left on  a slanted ramp, and he said it was only for a few seconds. I then pointed out the damage and he told me I could buff and replace everything and he said to me, “I towed you before, you were not far from here you were with your dad or something” I said yeah then I said so you already knew it had to be strapped down cuz it would roll back, I asked the driver if he had smoked weed and with a cocky laugh he stepped away and replied “No” and then he told me to stand behind the rear of my motorcycle and hold it up while he raised the flap bed up. I had taken photos of the damages while I was on the back holding my motorcycle up as he raised the lift. I had spent the last 3 weeks buying custom parts from the engine to the body, custom rims and wheel and added on upgrades, I spent a couple grand in parts, But it’s all the gone in damage, the bottom of the engine block cracked and the rear rim bent in rubbing up against this custom wheel stretch mount support my custom mirror bent my throttle is no good the rear license plate bent, the rear turn signals broke. My Custom performance exhaust suffered bad damage. I pay Verizon Wireless for this service, The tow truck driver said he works for a company, but his documentation states owner/operator. I said to him someone is gonna pay for the damages here and it’s not gonna be me and he said “Well I don’t know maybe call the people you pay for roadside assistance”  The tow company is contracted through Verizon, I didn’t pay any additional service charges. Who do I get in touch with about this, I had estimated there was about $1,100.38 In Damages.

You need to contact the towing company and report the damages to them as it was their employee's fault, so their insurance company should pay for the damages.  The Verizon Roadside Assistance only covers the cost of the tow itself.  If all else fails, you'll have to file a claim with your own insurance company, but that's going to make your premiums go up.
