Verizon Protect Home with Asurion

A Verizon Rep sold me on their Home Protection Plan by saying that I had protection on ANY device in my home, no matter how it was damaged. I was told that the nature of the damage was irrelevant, that even if my child knocked my TV off the entertainment center it would be replaced! Then, when I made a claim for a similar incident, it was denied. What a complete waste of money!!

It's worrying to see you feel this way. What's going on?

I Filed a claim for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra that happened to have a broken screen
Asurion kept denying my claim and deleted it from my account.  I think it's a scm, and they sent me an email saying that.

Mrbaptiste75, we're sorry that the claim did not go through. Did you escalate this issue with Asurion?

Thank you for the information, Mrbaptiste75. What type of insurance did you have on your Galaxy Tab S8?

Totally agree, had a similar experience. My son broke the screen of his tablet. The tablet probably cost about $80. Guess what, the deductible on the plan was $99. THIS IS A TOTAL SHAM!

And the claim process is terrible. Almost gave up trying to file the claim.

Yep. Just experienced a similar issue. When the delivery person dropped off a replacement phone, he gave me the whole spiel about Verizon home protect. I said no multiple times, but he assured me it covers any device in the house which has a Wi-Fi signal And that there is no deductible unless itโ€™s a very large item, like a television. I just tried to file a claim for a PS4 slim being charged $99 plus tax for a repair. Seems like false advertising to me. I donโ€™t know why I say yes When these things are offered. Itโ€™s always too good to be true.
