how can I login after my phone broke?!

My iPhone is waterlogged and possibly irreparable. I tried logging in to figure out next steps and am fine with username and password but am then prompted for 2FA confirmation which is of course now impossible. And when I tried to get help logging in or to speak to an agent it says if I have to first login which is also impossible.
How can I get past Verizon's broken systems in this impossible situation?

Having an inoperable phone is certainly never a great experience, and then made worse with 2FA authentication, ym347community. I know I would be seeking any avenue possible to get help as well, and we're here to do just that.
